I ReleaseYou

I just want you to know I release you. 

You will not hold me back.

You will not keep me from receiving the promise God has for me

or fulfilling the plans He has for my life.

I am filled with a purpose.

I am filled with a destiny.

I just want you to know I release you.

I will not allow you to continue to build a nest in my hair

I will not allow you to build walls around my heart

stopping others from entering

and receiving what you don't appreciate

I release you.

God has filled me with His purpose.

My destiny is in Him.

Others will value what you failed to acknowledge

Others will esteem what you could not recognize

And I release you.

Because I finally realize that though you have been a part of the plan

You are not a part of my destiny.

You were meant only to be a pawn in my development

A thorn in my side for God to take me to where He needs me to be

New heights, new dimensions.

And you can no longer hurt me

You can no longer deceive me

You can no longer take hold of my thoughts

or step all over my heart crushing me

and causing me to bleed

Because I now know my purpose

And so I release you.

I just thought you should know.
